About Me

Hello, my name is Nadine Young As of present, I’m a recent graduate from Dominican University, and will being going to DePaul University for my Masters. History has always had an impact in my life, but I didn’t know it would become my passion. The more I studied History at Dominican, the more I wanted to make it my future profession. History has taught me that the past is important in order for society to move forward and to learn from mistakes. As a Filipino-American with mental illnesses and part of the LGBTQ community, I want to show others just like me that they can follow their dreams. With perseverance, passion, and being yourself, you can achieve anything.
